ENG YASIN ADAM

Managing Director

Yasin Adan Co-founder Solargen in 2010. Bachelors in Architecture and Master’s in Project Planning Management. His diverse experience in architecture, construction, and renewable energy in the Netherlands and East Africa.

AHMED ALI

Admin and Finance

Ahmed Ali possesses extensive expertise in finance, procurement, and administration. He held positions as an administrative and finance officer at Solargen before working as a procurement officer and administrative and finance assistant at HAVOYOCO.

ENG AWALE MUSTAFA

Solar Technician

Cawale Mustafe is a Solar Technician with expertise in solar installation, mechanical engineering, and driving. With over 7 years of experience, he drives sustainable solutions by installing solar systems efficiently and ensuring smooth logistics for renewable energy projects.

AHMED ABDILLAHI ADAM

Manager

Ahmed Abdillahi possesses a wealth of knowledge in the fields of environmental engineering, hydraulics, structure management, and civil engineering. Prior to working for Solargen, he was employed at Dur Dur Drilling Company.

Marketing Analyst

Mustafe Abdi, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, is a Marketing Analyst at Solargen. Leveraging his expertise in data analysis and market research, Mustafe provides invaluable insights that drive informed decision-making

Muhidin Mowlid, with a Bachelor of Accounting & Finance, is the Head of Marketing at Solargen. His proficiency in sales and marketing strategies drives innovative campaigns, fostering brand awareness and customer loyalty.

Solargen is Founded in the hostels of University of Nairobi and opens it’s Headquaters in Nairobi, Kenya

Year 2012 - 2013

Seed capital and Maiden project

Solargen raises seed capital and sets up operation in Mogadishu, Somalia
Installs first solar water pumping system for a borehole in Mogadishu to supply to a camp for internally displaced people
Signs partnerships with leading solar equipment manufacturers in the industry such as Lorentz and Victron
