Lighting for Qool Bulaale Village, Salaxlay District & Hawd Region

In 2022, Member of Parliament Abdinasir Qodax collaborated with Solargen Technologies to address lighting needs in Qool Bulaale Village, located in the Salaxlay District of the Howd Region in Somaliland. The project involved the installation of lighting infrastructure comprising 10 poles, each equipped with 200W solar panels.

Solargen Technologies, a trusted provider of solar solutions, managed the installation process, leveraging their expertise to ensure reliable and sustainable lighting for the village. The solar-powered lighting system aimed to enhance safety and accessibility for residents, particularly during nighttime hours.

By harnessing solar energy, the project contributed to reducing dependency on traditional grid electricity and promoting environmental sustainability. The illuminated streets and communal areas provided residents with improved visibility and security, fostering a sense of community well-being.

Through this collaboration, Member of Parliament Abdinasir Qodax and Solargen Technologies demonstrated their commitment to enhancing infrastructure and quality of life in rural areas of Somaliland. The project’s impact extended beyond lighting provision, empowering the residents of Qool Bulaale Village and promoting development in the region.
