Lighting 2 Villages

In 2023, Member of Parliament Abdinasir Qodax collaborated with Solargen Technologies to address lighting needs in two villages located in the Daroor district of the Jarar Region in Ethiopia. The project involved installing solar-powered lighting infrastructure consisting of 7 poles, each equipped with 200W solar panels.
The first village, Celiya Village, and the second village, Laanqaynta Celiyo Village, both benefited from the installation of solar-powered lighting, enhancing safety and accessibility for residents during nighttime hours. Solargen Technologies managed the installation process, ensuring reliable and sustainable lighting solutions for the communities.
By harnessing solar energy, the project aimed to reduce dependency on traditional grid electricity and promote environmental sustainability. The illuminated streets and communal areas provided residents with improved visibility and security, fostering a sense of community well-being.
Through this collaboration, Member of Parliament Abdinasir Qodax and Solargen Technologies demonstrated their commitment to enhancing infrastructure and quality of life in rural areas of Ethiopia. The project’s impact extended beyond lighting provision, empowering the residents of both villages and promoting development in the region.
