Somali Stability Fund
In 2018, Solargen Technologies collaborated with the Somali Stability Fund to address the energy needs of the fishing-dependent community in War-Shiekh Town, located in the Middle Shabelle region of Somalia. The project involved the installation of a 33.4kW solar power system to provide sustainable energy access to the community.
The solar power system aimed to enhance the livelihoods of the fishing community by powering essential equipment such as ice-making machines, refrigeration units, and lighting facilities. By harnessing solar energy, the project offered a reliable and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diesel-powered generators, reducing operating costs and carbon emissions.
Solargen Technologies, recognized for its expertise in solar solutions, managed the installation process, ensuring the seamless deployment and integration of the solar power system within the community.
