Kitengela Project

In 2022, Givepower partnered with Solargen Technologies to address water quality and accessibility issues in Kitengela, Nairobi. The project involved the installation of a solar off-grid system capable of producing 75m3 of clean water per day, ensuring healthier families with access to safe drinking water.

The off-grid system utilized solar energy to power water purification processes, providing a sustainable and reliable source of clean drinking water. Solargen Technologies, known for its expertise in solar solutions, was responsible for the installation and commissioning of the off-grid system.

By harnessing solar energy, the project aimed to reduce dependency on traditional energy sources and minimize environmental impact. The clean water produced by the system contributed to improved health outcomes and enhanced quality of life for families in Kitengela.

Through this collaboration, Givepower and Solargen Technologies demonstrated their commitment to addressing water scarcity and promoting public health in urban areas.
